So the motives are many, according to the Cleveland Clinic. Here are seven possible reasons why you have gum problems and how to find an acceptable solution.
#1 You are scrubbing too hard
Regular brushing is a must for oral health. But, excesses are not advisable because they can irritate the gum tissue causing inflammation. Use a soft-bristled brush if you have delicate gums.
#2 You have tartar problems
Not brushing your teeth can cause gum damage. Poor dental hygiene can cause tartar to build up around the gum line, leading to bleeding. Dentists say to floss at least once a day.

#3 Suffer from gum disease
Redness, swelling and bleeding of the gums can lead to their infection. If you start having problems chewing food, see a dentist.
#4 Grit your teeth
