Rapidly spreading fire kills at least 12 people in southern Spain
At least 12 people have died and 23 others are missing after a large fire broke out in the Almeria province in southern Spain.
Authorities said most of the victims died while trying to escape the flames outside official evacuation routes, while about 800 residents have been evacuated and hundreds of firefighters and soldiers are fighting to bring the fire under control.
The fire, fueled by a heat wave and strong winds, is considered one of the fastest and most destructive in recent years in Spain.
Russian missile attacks on Kiev injure at least 10 people
At least 10 people, including a child, were injured after Russia struck Kiev overnight with ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and 121 drones, causing fires in parts of the Ukrainian capital.
According to the Ukrainian military, air defenses shot down most of the drones and several missiles, while the attack comes just days after the largest Russian bombing of Kiev, in which at least 30 people were killed.
Meanwhile, Ukraine continues to strike at refineries and oil facilities in Russia, in an attempt to weaken Moscow's financial resources.

Many vacationers complain that, after paying high amounts for umbrellas and sun loungers, they should not be forced to spend tens of euros every day at beach restaurants, while owners argue that food brought from home creates problems with cleanliness and waste management.
