Miley Cyrus didn't stand up or applaud when Lady Gaga took the stage to accept the award for "Best Pop Vocal Album" during the 2026 Grammy Awards ceremony.

Amidst all the cameras and many attendees standing around cheering for the singer's success, Miley Cyrus's move did not go unnoticed on social media.

One user wrote on Twitter:

"Miley's face when Lady Gaga won? SORRY?!"

While another commented:

"Now I need an explanation for why Miley sat down for Gaga..."

Some fans justified Miley's action, saying that the singer's problem was not with Lady Gaga, but with her producer, Andrew Watt, with whom she collaborated on the album "Plastic Hearts" in 2020.

"Miley would never stand up while Watt was on stage. This had nothing to do with Gaga. Please learn the history before you speak."

Although it is not known exactly why the singer and the producer are in conflict, according to some fans the reason may be related to rumors of a brief relationship between them during the time they worked together.
