Renowned actress Zendaya drew attention at the premiere of her new film The Drama , after choosing to wear the same dress she had worn years earlier at the 2015 Academy Awards ceremony.

The Hollywood star appeared in a white satin dress, which brought back one of the most important moments of her career. In an interview with Variety , the actress explained that the choice of this dress was not accidental.

"I was talking to my stylist about how I could tie the outfit into the theme of the film, and the tradition of 'something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue' came to mind. So I thought I'd implement that idea," she shared.

Recalling her appearance at the 2015 Oscars , Zendaya emphasized that that moment had a special meaning for her.

"It was a very important moment for me and my loved ones. I felt like it was the right dress for the occasion. And it also happens to be a wedding dress, so it works really well," the actress added.

In The Drama , Zendaya plays Emma Hardwood, a Louisiana bookstore employee, while actor Robert Pattinson plays Charlie Thompson, a British museum director. The story takes place a few days before their wedding, when the couple's relationship takes a dramatic turn.

The film is the new project of director Christopher Borgese and marks his second collaboration with the A24 studio, after the film Dream Scenario starring Nicolas Cage.

Meanwhile, for Zendaya this is a very busy year professionally.

The third season of the series Euphoria is expected to premiere on HBO on April 12. The actress will also appear in the film The Odyssey by director Christopher Nolan, which is expected to be released in theaters on July 17.

Her upcoming projects include Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Dune: Part 3 , which are set to premiere on July 31 and December 18, respectively, making this one of the most important years in her career.
