On July 5, a source close to the couple revealed a special detail from the ceremony, which reportedly touched Travis Kelce so much that he couldn't hold back his tears.
Although wedding vows typically only last one to three minutes for each partner, Taylor and Travis decided to dedicate much more time to this moment. According to the source, each of them gave a speech that lasted about 20 minutes.
For this reason, the couple had also thought about the guests: embroidered handkerchiefs were placed at their seats, in case emotions became uncontrollable.
Taylor, wearing a custom-made Dior wedding dress, read her vows from a gold-covered book. It was these words that reportedly moved Travis Kelce to tears. His vows were just as long, making this part of the ceremony alone last over 40 minutes.
Instead of traditional short vows, the two chose to give long speeches, where they spoke of their love and commitment to each other.
