Olsi Bylyku ??was invited to the show "Mirembrëma Yje" with Arbana Osmani, where he played the famous game "I did it, I didn't do it." During it, Olsi confessed that he regretted a tattoo he had done with his ex-partner, without mentioning her name at first.
"I had a tattoo with my ex-partner, I got it a 'couple tattoo' and I've already changed it. It was a half moon and half sun and I got this acting mask [over the half moon]," said Olsi, revealing that it was about the couple tattoo he got during his relationship with Egli Takon.
Egli was the first to talk about this tattoo after the breakup in an interview for "Not Just Fashion" in 2023, about which she spoke more openly:
"I have a tattoo down here, on my leg, that is the waves of the sea and the sunset. I love the sunset very much. Even though it was a 'couple tattoo', now it's a 'single tattoo', it still makes a lot of sense because the sunset is my favorite view in the world. I have the sun, Olsi has the moon," Egli said at the time.
Although for Eglin, the tattoo does not evoke bad memories after the breakup, Olsi's experience is a clear reminder that tattoos with a partner can be exciting in the moment, but may not always remain so in the long run.
A shared symbol may make sense for a while, but when life happens and relationships change, a few painful laser sessions after a broken heart is the last thing we want to experience!
