Penélope Cruz has told Elle some details of family life with her husband, Javier Bardem, and children, Luna (10 years old) and Leo (12 years old). The "Ferrari" actress stressed that she is trying to keep her children as far away from attention as possible.
"It is up to them to decide whether they should have a job in which they are exposed to the public eye or not," said the 49-year-old actress. "They can talk about it when they are ready," he added later.
Penélope does not allow the children to have a cell phone or social networks, because according to her, it is easy to manipulate children at this age.
"It is very easy to be manipulated, especially when the brain is still being formed. It is a cruel experiment for children and teenagers", she said.
But, of course, her kids have fun, and their father, Javier Bardem, makes sure of that. "He sings and dances really well," Penélope said, adding that he imitates Mick Jagger. He also imitates Al Pacino and Robert De Niro when they talk to each other. "It's unbelievable," she said with a laugh.
The actress showed that she often plays the role of mother in her films, especially in those directed by Pedro Almodóvar.
"Pedro has always seen me as a mother. We know each other since I was 17 years old. He has seen me go and talk to strangers just to see their babies.
