Singer Taylor Swift and American football star Travis Kelce are officially husband and wife. The couple married on Friday, July 3, in a lavish ceremony at the famous Madison Square Garden in New York City, in the presence of about 1,000 guests.
According to the singer's representatives, the ceremony was thought out to the smallest detail. The bride and groom's outfits were specially created by the fashion house Dior, under the creative direction of Jonathan Anderson. Taylor's dress was the designer's first creation for a world-famous bride. The shoes were made to order by Christian Louboutin, while the jewelry was from the Cartier brand.

Instead of traditional bridesmaids, Taylor chose her brother Austin Swift as her best man, while Travis had his brother Jason Kelce as his best man. The ceremony was officiated by actor and friend Adam Sandler.
Immediately after they were declared husband and wife, giant screens outside Madison Square Garden displayed the message: "They just got married!"

The wedding was attended by many well-known names from the world of art and sports, including Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Dakota Johnson, Mariska Hargitay, Peter Hermann, Ed Sheeran, Cherry Seaborn, the Haim sisters, Ellie Goulding, Benson Boone, Maren Morris, Kelsea Ballerini, Miranda Lambert, the group The Chicks, Brad Paisley, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Hugh Grant, Karlie Kloss, Joshua Kushner, Zoë Kravitz, Jason Sudeikis, Ethan Hawke, Jimmy Fallon and Tommy Hilfiger.
The night before the wedding, the couple hosted an intimate rehearsal dinner at the Infosys Theater, inside Madison Square Garden, attended by family and closest friends.

Guests included Lena Dunham, Jack Antonoff, Abigail Anderson, Erin Andrews, Charissa Thompson, Greg Olsen and Aric Jones. Bradley Cooper and Ashley Avignone arrived separately, while Selena Gomez posted a photo from her car as she headed to the party.
Sources close to the event said Madison Square Garden had been completely transformed for the ceremony. In the days leading up to the wedding, dozens of trucks were hauling in equipment, decorations and even a natural grass surface inside the arena. Outside, boxes were seen with the words "Garden Party" and "Mirror Ball," and one source said he had never seen the arena look so different.

The day before the ceremony, Taylor Swift's representatives also announced that the couple had donated $26 million to several charities, including Feeding America, the ASPCA and Dolly Parton's Imagination Library foundation.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement in August 2025 in a joint social media post, sharing photos from their romantic proposal in a garden. In one of them, Travis was seen getting down on one knee before asking Taylor to marry him.

Their story began in 2023, after Travis Kelce publicly revealed that he had tried to give Taylor Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it during a concert on her tour. Although he didn't get to meet her that night, he later expressed his interest publicly on his podcast and, thanks to the intervention of some close people, the two began to get to know each other.
