Finding the best island in Europe looks like hard work, but Travel + Leisure did exactly that with the annual and best polls in the world. Finally, scores of thousands of votes were published and a state is significantly more dominant than others.
Greek islands occupy six of the ten countries in the ranking this year. In addition to the popular destinations such as Santorini or Mykonos, there are some hidden jewels like Paros, a boat trip away which is known for virgin beaches and traditional villages. Paros is the best island to rest in Europe this year. Secondly, the Orkney Islands are located at the northeastern coastline of Scotland.
