Avril Lavigne has reacted on the conspiracy theory that she has died and has been replaced by a clone. In an interview for "KIIS 106.5" radio in Australia, stressed that not only is alive and sound but has never used a substitute to avoid paparazzi.
"I am surprised. Some people think that I am not really and that is so strange. Why should people think that? "Said Avril.
In 2003, a conspiracy theory quickly spread to the Internet, according to which Avril died and was replaced by an identical girl named Melissa.
The theory alludes that Lavigne, unfamiliar with the fame at the beginning of the career, began to use a sozi called Melissa. It is said that over time Lavigne died and the record company simply replaced Melissa.
Tests are pictures made on red carpet (Lavigne wears pants, Melissa prefers skirts and dresses) and minimal differences in face.
It is said that Melissa has hidden messages in song lyrics, like Slipped Away, saying, "The day you left, it was the day I realized I would not be the same."
There is also a picture where Lavigne has "Melissa" written in his hand.
Scary, is not it?
