Christian Panucci has officially stopped working with the Albanian national team. Such notice has been made by the AFF itself through a statement on the official website.

"The Albanian Football Federation announces that today officially terminated the cooperation with coach Christian Panucci. We thank the trainer for the work he has done so far and we wish him success in the career extension, "said the announcement made shortly before.

This decision seems to have come shortly after yesterday evening, where the Albanian representative lost face to face with Turkey.

This match is thought to have been the cause of his departure, as according to the FSHF, the Italian coach has had enough time to prepare the team and confronting Turkey was his last chance.

Christian Panucci was placed in the position of coach of the Albanian national team in July 2017 after the departure of De Biasi.
