What to Know About April 1, The Day of Lies

Tomorrow, it's officially April 1 and people are eagerly awaiting. Worldly known as the Day of Lies, the beginning of this month is always starting to run.

But why is exactly 1 April set as a day of lies ?!

Although the exact date and origin still remain unknown to humans, it is thought that this date was celebrated in Great Britain at least in the 19th century.

Then, the tricks and lies became more of a child, but many things have changed today.

As far as their origins are concerned, there are several different theories, but it is said that everything started 1 since the 16th century, when Pope Gregory XIII thought it would be a good idea to adapt the Gregorian calendar and tell this to the people.

At that time, the year began at the end of March, while the new calendar would begin on January 1st.

Although the news was scattered everywhere, some people did not receive the message on time and continued to celebrate the arrival of the new year on April 1st. This group of people from the others was labeled as "fools" and from that day began the tradition of April 1, the day of deceived.

How is it celebrated around the world?

In Scotland, April 1 lasts for 2 days. On the second day, people are suddenly hit from behind. In Canada and England, the laments of April 1 are allowed to be spoken by noon. Then the game ends.

In France, children have the tradition to put each other in their back a fish-shaped letter. But in our country, the Day of Lies is full of 24 hours, perhaps even more and we certainly try to make the scenario of tones and tricks more credible and tough to deceive.

Is the Day of Lying Break ?!

Certainly yes, it's an official break from breakfast to dinner.

Believe it ?! It's like every other day, unfortunately and no, it's not a break.
