Avicii's family is making sure that pending projects are published. The latest album will be titled "TIM" and will contain songs with which DJ was working shortly before leaving life.
"He left behind an unfinished song collection, along with notes, email conversations, and endless messages," a representative said. "Singers with whom Tim (Avicci) will co-operate have tried to get closer to his vision."
The song "SOS" will be released on April 10, while the full album will be ready in June. Last month, the Bergling family announced the establishment of a foundation for the prevention of mental health disorders.
Avicii, whose real name is Tim Bergling, died on April 20, 2018 at the age of 28 in Muscat, Oman, where he was relaxing with friends.
The Swedish DJ showed in an interview in 2013 that he practically lived with alcohol, offering him free wherever he went, champagne, Bloody Mary and food at the airport.
"I was very nervous. I was addicted to relying on alcohol encouragement and self-confidence, then I can not give up. Maybe I drink more than I can but I have a swing. Never drink two days in a row. "
His routine was: champagne at dinner, Bloody Mary at the airport and summer on the plane. He emphasized then that he had undergone a diet with Red Bull, nicotine and food at the airport. Excessive drink brought a number of health problems to the life of the 28-year-old. He dropped appendectitis and swelling in 2014, in 2016 he was diagnosed with acute pancreas, the result of his crazy feasts.
Additional information:
Pancreatitis is the inflammation (swelling) of the pancreas. It occurs when the digestive enzymes begin to attack the pancreas. Pancreatitis may be acute (occurs suddenly) and can be life-threatening with multiple complications. Continued damage to the pancreas can lead to a prolonged (chronic) form. About 20% of acute pancreatitis is severe. Very serious cases can lead to shock and death.
The most common causes are gallstones and alcohol use. Other causes include: medication, abdominal surgery, pancreas or bowel abnormalities, and rare infections (eg measles), blockage of cancers or pancreas, and cancer or pancreatic infection. Sometimes the cause remains unknown. Pancreatitis can be life-threatening and needs immediate treatment.
