The danger is coming to the world from Greenland!

On August 2, about 12.5 billion ice melted in Greenland, marking a record loss in history and reminding us of what crisis we are experiencing with global warming. If we keep up this pace, perhaps after 1 century, the coasts of the world will no longer be the same.

On one of the hottest days of this summer, residents of a small nearby village, Kulusuk, heard a terrible noise, resembling an explosion. In fact, it was a glacier the size of a football field that was shredded to melt afterwards.

A team of NASA specialists set out to examine the situation closely and saw how the ice was being endangered not only by high air temperatures but also by the warming of the ocean, which is increasingly swirling inward.

"There is enough ice in Greenland to raise the sea level by 7.5 meters, which would be devastating for all the coasts of our planet," said one.

Changing temperatures and warming waters have made their contact with glaciers fatal and their thawing accelerated. Every day they are attracted by whole meters of glaciers, which have the power to influence sea level rise - half a millimeter every month. NASA experts say this should not be overlooked.

Greenland has an impact on our entire planet. Billions of tons of lost ice are rising in Australia, South Asia, or Europe. They are all bound by the same ocean, which speaks of a great common danger in the decades ahead.
