Facebook, owned by Instagram, launched the Threads app a few days ago on iOS and Android platforms. For a good portion of users, Threads is just ridiculous.
The app opens immediately to the camera, like Snapchati, and focuses mostly on communicating with close friends, such as Snapchati. It also lets users set a status in Story, like Snapchati, and is created to be faster in communicating with people, so find out what, like Snapchati.
Such a similarity has made people skeptical of the new Intagram app, which is clearly a copy of Snapchat. We add here that this is not the first time Instagram has copied Snap. In August 2016, Instagram introduced the Stories option, the basic build feature of Snapchat.
"At an Instagram meeting: 'Snapchat, yes we'll call it Threads,'" someone writes on Twitter. ?I currently send Direct Messages to my friends on Instagram. We all have Snapchat. Why does it look like Snapchat? It doesn't work for me. Only so many options? ?Writes another.
All Threads features are included on Instagram, except for setting a status, which can be done automatically or manually.
