When Halloween is not a holiday, why celebrate it ?!

Preparations for Halloween have begun early and now that October 31st is near, plans are nearing completion.

In recent years, this "holiday" has become very popular in our country as well, but what do we know about Halloween truths?

In America, this holiday comes shortly after Christmas. Although I mentioned the word 'holiday' several times above, is 31 really a day to celebrate?

The scariest facts about Halloween - the day the dead souls wake up and the serial killers take to the streets in search of their vitamins, tell the opposite!

Masks are not just for fun

Although disguise has now become a separate motive, you should know that it was previously intended for a very strong purpose. The pagan peoples used them to scare away evil spirits. What started with the animal's skin or cut head has now turned into mermaid or Batman costumes.

If you bite a cake and find a finger in it, then that means bad luck in love

Halloween cake has long since become traditional for the holiday only if it has a metal finger inside it. However, for the ladies and boys whose fingers were shot on their part, this was not a good sign.

If you happen to be celebrating in Germany, wipe the knives

Even the Germans celebrate Halloëeen, but only that they regard it as a form of reverence for the dead. Part of this tradition is the concealment of knives found at home for fear that the spirits may come back to life and hurt someone with the scraps they find.

In Italy you have the opportunity to view the Biscuits of the Dead

Of course the Italians have a cooking recipe for everything, even for Halloëeen. In this case, they prepare macaroon cookies which have been called the Biscuits of the Dead.

The above are the serious facts that prove why Halloween is not a (so scary) holiday. The other reasons are as follows:

1. During these days we do not recover.

There is a lot of alcohol, but at most you will feel bloated the next day and only so. There is no turkey, Russian salad or some baklava sauce for the next 15 days!

2. You don't have to give or receive gifts.

You will spend the maximum on the costume, but nothing else. It's not Christmas, New Year or March 7-8.

3. There are a lot of cakes around.

The (scary) candies are everywhere! Just open the doors!

4. It's just an excuse to celebrate .

It's not a holiday, but what's the point? You can use that night to dance like never before. Just like you can't do on the official holidays!

5. For a single night, you can be whatever you want!

"Mean Girls" couldn't say it better. It's one of those nights where you can do whatever you want! A cop, a prime minister, a stripper, a rabbit or a tiger.
