Taylor Swift, who stated that the former company that managed it is banning her old songs, demanded that artists managing Scooter Braun react to the issue. The words rang in his right ear and Justin Bieber reacted, certainly not on Taylor's side.

On Instagram, Bieber posted a screenshot of a TMZ article featuring the version of Big Machine Label, formerly managed by Taylor Swift, and has the rights to the singer's first six albums today.

For context: Braun's Ithaca Holdings acquired Big Machine Label Group from founder Scott Borchetta as part of a $ 300 million deal. Swift signed with the label from 2006 for her debut album until 2017, before going to Universal Music Group. This means that the singer has no right to previous music projects.

In a TMZ article, it is stated that a Big Machine rep stated that "Taylor Swift is 100 percent entitled to perform old songs at the American Music Awards." "Our confusion about her statement is that we have no legal right to ban it and both teams know that."

But in the meantime Swift's publicist said that "Big Machine stopped the singer from re-recording the old songs."

Selena Gomez also wrote on Instagram, but unlike Justin Bieber, kept Taylor's side.

?I have known Taylor for 13 years. She is the most dedicated, strong and courageous woman I have ever known. I'm so proud of her diary [song lyrics] that the whole world has heard. Seeing them try to destroy it is a very bad feeling. Taylor fights. It will never stop fighting. People grow from choices. Some will stay the same forever. I wholeheartedly hope for a change in the situation. ?
