To hear hip-hop at the age of 13 is nothing short of extraordinary. All of today's twenty-something year olds still remember fixating with 2Die4, Mr. Elvis, Chaos, Trent Sound, OTR, Skillz etc. But going with your parents to a hip hop concert - like Dua - just 13 years old, is extraordinary.

At The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Dua Lipa recounted the time she lived in Kosovo, from 11 to 15 years old. At that time, Dua, like many teenagers and young people in Kosovo and Albania, was obsessed with hip-hop music.

?Not many artists came to perform in Kosovo. Not as much as I would like. Interestingly, my first time at a concert was at the Method Man & Redman concert. ?

The rap group, made up of Method Man and Redman, like every other rap group, stands out for its street language. They came to perform live in Kosovo in 2009 and to Jimmy Fallon's surprise that a 13-year-old goes to a hip-hop concert.

?In fact, in Kosovo, people [at the time] were only listening to hip-hop. It was very widespread. ?

To no one's surprise, the next concert Dua Lipa went to was 50 Cent, which also performed live in Kosovo 10 years ago.
