"My brain refuses to admit that Kobe and Gigi are no longer living."
Vanessa Bryant posted a poignant message on Instagram about the 13-year-old husband and daughter who lost their lives in a tragic helicopter crash.
"I can't process it," writes Vanessa. "I'm trying to figure out that Kobe is no longer with me, but the body refuses to accept that Gigi will never come back."
"I feel wrong," she added. ?Why should I wake up in the morning while my daughter doesn't? I'm so angry. It was full of life. ?
Vanessa confessed that the only thing keeping her going during this difficult time is the other three girls.
"At least I have Natalia, Biankan and Caprin," Vanessa said. ?I know my feelings are normal. It's part of the process. I just wanted to share it with you if you are experiencing something similar. God, as if this nightmare was over. I pray for all the victims of this terrible tragedy. ?
Kobe and Gianna Bryant - and seven other passengers - lost their lives in a helicopter crash Jan. 26.
Homage to the basketball legend and his daughter will be held February 24 at the Staples Center.
