Marta Kauffman, who along with David Crane created the most famous sitcom of all time, was thrilled during the ATX 2020 virtual TV festival when asked what she would like to do differently if she returned to the beginning of her career.

"I would like to know what I know today," Kauffman said with tears in his eyes. "I apologize, I just want to know what I know today. I would have made very different decisions. "

She said she had "always encouraged diversity", but would like to have done more. Kauffman refers to the lack of actors of other races in the caste.

In January, David Schwimmer, who plays Ross, said there was a "conscious approach" to bringing more diversity to Friends. He stressed that during the seasons, he has met with African-American and Asian-American characters.

"Friends" was broadcast in 1994-2004 and in February a return of the sitcom was confirmed, but there is still no exact date due to pandemics.
