
Black Eyed Peas returned a decade later with a new album, "Translation," but one member is missing - Fergie.
In an interview with Billboard, Will.i.am explained why Fergie is not part of the upcoming project. "Fergie is devoting herself to motherhood," Will.i.am said. "It's a difficult job and that's what Fergie wants to do and we support her. She knows where to find us. ?
Will.i.am stated that "they respect her decision".
Fergie has a 6-year-old son with her ex-husband, actor Josh Duhamel. She became part of the band in 2002 alongside Will.i.am, Apl.de.Ap and Taboo. Some of their hits are "Where Is The Love," "Let's Get It Started," "I Gotta Feeling" and "Boom Boom Pow."
Members of Black Eyed Peas also pursued a solo career, but also brought projects as a group. Finally, a singer joined him, J.Rey Soul.
Regarding the album "Translation", Will.i.am said that "Fergie has not heard it yet, but hopes to like it".
