The reasons why we feel happier in the summer

Despite all the difficulties of this year, summer seems to "soften" things. There is something magical about waking up and seeing the sun. The mood changes within seconds and the first feeling that comes to mind is to go out there to enjoy every moment.

In this season, people are more satisfied. The long days, the months that seem endless, the beach and everything else affects our condition. But, to know there are 3 specific reasons why people are happier during the summer.

1. Light affects the change of our sleep routine.

Changed hours between day and night have an impact on how we sleep. During the summer people go to bed earlier, wake up earlier and the sleep they get is much healthier compared to that of winter.

2. Eating habits also affect.

The holiday season during the winter comes with heavy foods that we consume for a long time. This does not mean that winter foods are worse considering the fact that the body has to withstand low temperatures, but during the summer the body feels lighter. Summer foods are different: they have enough energy, are light and moreover do not burden us.

3. The sun is good for our body!

In addition to the care we need to show with harmful rays, the sun has a positive effect on our health and mind. Vitamin D lowers the chances of dying from heart disease or prostate cancer. In addition, natural light is a stand-alone remedy for the fight against depression.
