Immediately after the publication, the singer was confronted with comments from Serbian followers who constantly wrote "Kosovo is Serbia" and others like these that incited hatred in Lipa's profile.

There have been so many reactions that Dua was forced to clarify once and for all about every post she makes about Kosovo, Albania and everything else that connects her with the country.

"My previous post was not intended to incite hatred. I am annoyed and upset by the fact that my statement was misunderstood by a group of individuals promoting ethnic division, which I completely reject. Every time I post about Kosovo, the profile im crazy, even if it 's something fun like food or music.

I have faced fierce resistance to the idea of ??an authentic Kosovar culture. We all deserve to be proud of our ethnicity and background. I simply want my country to represent itself on the map and to be able to speak proudly of my Albanian roots and my homeland. I encourage everyone to listen more and learn from each other. The petition, published on Friday, is asking Apple Maps to establish the international borders between Kosovo and Serbia, as well as to mark the name of Kosovo on the map. The border line that separates the two countries in Apple Maps is visually different from those used to separate the borders of other countries, thus making Kosovo appear as part of Serbia and not marking its name on the map, but only that of Prishtina.
