Actor Matthew McConaughey is currently preparing for his memoir, Greenlight, which will be published on Monday, October 20th. Meanwhile, the star of "Dazed and Confused" shared some memories for People , talking among other things about the separation from life of his father, James Donald McConaughey.

"I got a call from my mom. 'Babi vdiq'. My knees were cut. I could not believe it. He was my father. No one and nothing could kill him. Except for Mom. ” Said Matthew, humorously.

Although the words on the surface seem to refer to the actual murder, he is talking about something else. Matthew told People that his father always said he would die making love to his wife.

"He always said to me and my brothers, 'Guys, when I go, I'll be making love to your mother. And so it happened. He suffered a heart attack when he reached the climax [peak of pleasure during sex].

James passed away in 1992. He and Matthew's mother, Mary Kathleen, were married three times as a result of their complicated relationship.

"They were, at times, violent. I also said it in the book, that's how they communicated. They divorced twice and got married three times. I mean, they were like the Pacific Ocean during a storm. " - the actor told People.
