Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, mother of three, has another unofficial title. She is often described by many media as the "hair goddess".
Kate does not experiment with hair, but she still gets attention anyway, as she has thick hair, always perfectly cured and very healthy.
Here are her 5 secrets for healthy hair, selected by Women's Health:
# 1 - The shampoo and conditioner I use
According to some magazines like Allure or Woman & Home, Kate is said to be a fan of Kerastase Bain Satin shampoo and conditioner. The line aims to nourish the strands with key nutrients to help keep hair strong and healthy.
# 2 - Use a hairpin for captured models
The Revelist revealed in a close look at Kate's hairstyles that she maintains a regular hairline to "keep her hair in place" at various events. This makes them always look perfectly cured, even if hours have passed since the hair was caught.
# 3 - She combs her hair before drying it
Richard Ward, Kate's longtime hair stylist, says in a video tutorial with People magazine that "the first essential step is combing, even before the hair dries."
# 4 - Use only curlers
Middleton almost never uses heat for her hair, but to make waves she always uses curlers.
# 5 - She uses a specific way of drying her hair
Richard suggests that instead of a simple hair dryer, you pay a little more attention to that process. He recommends gently lifting the roots and drying them directly, in all directions.
He also suggests that you always use a nozzle at the bottom of your dryer, as it concentrates heat properly.
