Well-known singer-songwriter, Kujtim Prodani has passed away at the age of 57 as a result of Covid-19.

For several days Prodani was struggling with the disease hospitalized in the "Shefqet Ndroqi" hospital, where he was receiving the necessary medical treatment.

The news of his death was made public by his relatives through a status on social networks.

At the end of December, the singer himself, through a photo where he appeared in resuscitation with an oxygen mask on his face, announced that he was fighting with Covid-19.

Kujtim Prodani, the son of artists Anita and Agim Prodani was active in creativity and participation in various music festivals. 

In April last year he had also composed and written a song titled "Ju Corona Speaks", which described the situation created by the pandemic and quarantine during those months.
