The Institute of Statistics (INSTAT) has prepared an annual report for the regions of Albania, which, among other things, shows a quality that distinguishes the rest of the cities within Albania.
According to the report, the results for each city are as follows:
Berat region: It is the region with the largest production of olives, covering 14% of total production.
Dibër Region: The lowest monthly average for household expenses (67,805 ALL).
Durrës Region: The second region in terms of the number of construction permits issued for new buildings (152).
Elbasan Region: The second region in terms of the number of cattle (43,100 heads).
Fier Region: The second region for the regional GDP per capita (599,000 ALL).
Gjirokastra Region: The region with the highest waste generation (0.75 tons) per capita.
Korça Region: The second region for labor force participation (68.4%), for the population 15+.
Kukës Region: The region with the highest rate of natural population growth (7.42) per 1,000 inhabitants.
Lezha Region: The region with the highest unemployment rate (17.7%), for the population 15+.
Shkodër Region: The highest percentage of students enrolled in private secondary education (17.8%), compared to public education.
Tirana Region: The region with the highest rate of
net internal migration (10.5) per 1,000 inhabitants.
Vlora Region: The region with the largest production of citrus, 68% of
total production.
