SeekingArrangement (also known as Seeking) is a dating site between a "sugar daddy" (or "sugar mama") and a "sugar baby", founded by Brandon Wade in San Francisco, California, in 2006.

Sugar Daddy - A rich, aged man, willing to give luxury gifts and in front of a young woman, in exchange for her company or sexual favors.

Sugar Baby - A young girl / boy, interested in a relationship with a "sugar daddy", mainly for financial purposes.

Members' data is permanently stored on the website and the membership agreement gives the company the right to distribute this information where it deems it "reasonable".

So SeekingArrangement is based on a membership system. Sugar babies create profiles and join the website for free. Those who enter the email address they use from the university where they study automatically qualify for a Premium Membership status.

Sugar Daddies and Mamas register for free on the site services, which provides them with a limited number of messages. After using it for a few free days, members have the opportunity to purchase credits for extended messaging privileges on a monthly or annual basis with the Diamond package.

In 2011, for a former U.S. representative, Anthony Weiner, 6 women from Seeking said they had been part of sex phone conversations while Weiner was married.

In 2016, entrepreneur Doug Richard admitted to having sex with a 13-year-old girl who had claimed to be 17 years old. At the end of the case, the charges against Richard were dropped by a unique jury decision.
