In a rare interview, Jay-Z talks about raising children with Beyonce and living

Jay-Z interviews rarely give interviews, but when he does, people find the time and listen to him. Recently, in an interview via Zoom for The Sunday Times to promote the new partnership with Puma, Jay-Z talked about quarantined life with his wife Beyonce, 9-year-old daughter Blue Ivy and twins Rumi and Sir.

"In the beginning it was time for all of us to break away a little bit and really connect and really focus on family and being together and take time to learn more about each other. Then, after we got used to it, we said 'Okay, okay, is that the new normal?' - said Jay-Z.

The pressure of having parents Jay-Z and Beyonce is great for their children, but Jay-Z told the Sunday Times that "being loved is the most important thing a child needs."

"It is not, 'Look, this is the business that I will hand over to you, that I am creating for you.' What if my child does not want to do music or sports? I have no idea. As long as the child feels supported and loved, I think anything is possible. ” He added.

The 51-year-old said he is aware of the legacy that may seem like a responsibility to his children to continue, but stressed that he and Beyonce have a plan.

"Just make sure you create a loving environment, be attentive to who they want to be. It is easy for us, as human beings, to want our children to do certain things, but we have no idea. We are just guides. ”
