Oprah Winfrey, the 67-year-old television icon, has interviewed many celebrities and important figures over her long career. Definitely like all of us, Oprah has made mistakes too.
In a conversation with Rob Lowe on his "Literally" podcast, she revealed an interview which embarrasses her to this day.
During the conversation, Lowe told that late-night talk shows focus more on fun and funny games with the guests, rather than trying to get to know the character better. Here he mentioned the late actor Burt Reynolds.
“Oh, Burt Reynolds. "Oh God, I have a story with Burt Reynolds," Oprah said.
She went on to explain that she once interviewed actress Sally Field, who played Burt Reynolds in "Smokey and the Bandit" and was his girlfriend at the time. Oprah said she was pressured to ask Sally a question, a question she considers the biggest blunder of her career.

"My biggest mistake: I asked him, 'Does Burt wear a wig when he sleeps?' Even today I feel embarrassed when I remember it. I asked him because the producers told me: 'You have to ask him, you have to ask him, you have to ask him. That's what people want to know. "
Burt is rumored to be wearing wigs. The question seemed horrible to Sally (not that it is not actually) and Oprah added that it cooled their relationship.
Well, we are idiots, we make people!
