Among many well-known figures, some took a stand on the Israel-Palestine conflict, others completely ignored it as an event, while Rihanna (but not only) took a neutral stance. This was what irritated many people on Twitter or Instagram.

Rihanna wrote:

"I'm heartbroken by the violence I'm seeing between Israel and Palestine. I can not see it! Innocent Israeli and Palestinian children are hiding in bomb shelters, more than 40 people have lost their lives in Gaza alone, 13 of whom were "Innocent children! There must be some kind of solution! We are seeing how innocent people are falling prey to the notions of extremists and the government, and this cycle must be broken!" 

Some of the comments from people were:

"No Rihanna, why the hell should you post this?"

"No, if you are pro-humanism, you must be pro-Palestinian."

"Rihanna has not spoken at all about the release of new songs. She should not have talked about it either."

"Celebrities who show they are 'neutral': Enough activism for today!"

"I changed my mind Rihanna, I can keep the album you want to release."
