You have to see it to believe it! Burberry's latest campaign in collaboration with 37-year-old actor Adam Driver is making a lot of noise.
Burberry released the introductory video for the Burberry Hero perfume, where Driver serves as the image. With the song "Two Weeks" by FKA twigs in the background, the 2-minute commercial shows the actor running next to a horse.
Afterwards, they both swim in the water. As soon as the actor comes to the surface, he appears as a centaur (figure of Greek mythology who was imagined as a creature from the middle above man and from the middle below the horse).
"The campaign challenges traditional male stereotypes, uniting horse and man and creating a modern myth. "Through the vivid metaphor of a man becoming a mythical creature in the mighty sea, the campaign illustrates the story of a man who jumps into the unknown, overcoming and transforming into something new, staying true to himself," the press release reads. .
The announcement states that Driver "embodies the spirit of the perfume, embracing freedom of expression and the beauty of contradictions".

Riccardo Tisci, CEO of Burberry Group behind the perfume, said he wanted the scent to "include modern manhood, play on the core of primary human and animal instincts" and channel "the duality between strength and sensibility".
