Has anyone ever had sex in space?

Have you ever wondered how astronauts have survived inside an enclosed and isolated space for months and successfully (perhaps) closed their eyes to their human desires?

Science is advancing fast, so maybe the time has come to talk about sex while exploring space?

According to reports, NASA and other space agencies have long denied that there was any sexual activity in space. But why so? Well, there seem to be problems with having sex on micro-gravity.

According to a New York Post report, John Millis, a physicist and astronomer, compared having sex in space to having sex during a "parachute jump." However, he added that "it was not impossible".

He further explained:

"The issues associated with the act all revolve around free fall, micro-gravity, the environment experienced by astronauts," he said. . "

Experts suggest that due to low gravity, the effect of blood circulation and pressure on the body affects one’s sexual desire. Micro-gravity causes blood to rise to the head instead of rushing to the genitals, making it difficult for people to feel aroused. Add to this the pressure that is constantly felt below waist level, causing the penile tissues to contract.

Among some other issues caused due to low gravity, there is also a sudden drop in testosterone levels that kills sexual desire.

Moreover, even if one were to have sex in space, it would be very embarrassing to see liquids and sweat accumulating and floating around the spacecraft.

NASA has a policy of not allowing married couples to travel together on space missions. An exception, however, was made in 1991, when the agency allowed the first married couple to embark on a mission together. It was reported that Jan Davis and Mark Lee, "training camp lovers got married secretly very close to the departure date." But the two later refused to answer any questions in this regard.

In another chain of rumors, a Russian astronaut Valery Polyakov was rumored to have "approached" astronaut Elena Kondakova during their time together on the "Mir" mission for 14 months. But all these claims have been denied.
