Fashion editor Richard Buckley, also the husband of Tom Ford, has passed away at the age of 72. The news was announced by representatives of the famous brand. 

"Tom Ford announces the death of his 35-year-old husband. Richard passed away peacefully at his home in Los Angeles alongside Tom and their son Jack. He died of natural causes after battling a long illness. . "

Buckely served as editor-in-chief of Vogue Hommes International for 6 years until 2005 and has always been involved in the fashion industry for a full 25 years, including experiences with Italian Vogue and New York Magazine.

As for the relationship with Tom Ford, the latter has expressed that meeting him was "love at first sight" when they were exchanged in an elevator during a fashion show in 1986. 

Throughout their relationship, Ford and Buckley lived in famous fashion capitals like Milan and Paris. In September 2012, their son was born and they were married in 2014.
