A Turkish man who was reported missing anonymously joined search groups searching for himself.
Local media in Turkey reported that Beyhan Mutlu, who lives in the Inegöl district of Bursa province, was believed to have disappeared on Tuesday (September 28th). He had run away from his friends in a forest while he was drunk.
Mutlu's wife and friends reported him missing as they were unable to contact him for several hours.
Mutlu, 50, later joined a group in the area, which was assisting authorities in his search. When members of the search team started calling his name, he replied:
"I am here".
Authorities then took the statement, before taking it home, NTV reported. It is unclear whether the 50-year-old faced any sentence.
