We all know the McDonald's logo, one of the most famous in the world, known as the "golden bows".
A TikTok user, Emily Zugay, decided to use her degree as a designer by bringing improved logo models of well-known companies, such as Starbucks or Apple.
Numerous companies on TikTok noticed its iconic re-creations. Some, like Adobe, Tampax, Nascar and Tinder commented asking them to process their logos. Among them also commented on McDonald's TikTok account. That's it.
Emily started working. To him, the "golden bows" looked like knees, so he removed them altogether. "I do not want to think about the knees when eating McChicken," she wrote.
@mcdonalds hi welcome to mcdOalds #mcd #mcdonalds #mcdoalds @emilyzugay
? original sound - mcdOalds
Emily then introduced the new logo. instead of M, the designer emphasized O. He even changed his name to McDoalds.
For the recreation it was inspired by onion rings - onion rings dipped in dough or bread crumbs and fries - and according to it would be a nice campaign for McDonald’s.
The company approved the new temporary logo and put it on all social networks, although it is now only available on TikTok.
hi welcome to mcdOalds
