Kristen Stewart's experience of wearing a dress almost identical to the iconic Princess Diana's bridal gown was not as exciting as one might think.
"Wearing the dress was a thrilling day," the actress told Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet at the Spencer premiere.
Stewart, who portrays the late princess in the film, added that the wedding dress scene is embedded in a "montage" of several moments - including her marriage to Prince Charles in 1981.
During the interview, the actress also touched on a moment in the movie in which we see Lady Di enter a restaurant to ask for something and is immediately recognized by all the people inside - a situation that Kristen knows well.
"It's a little stupid," he said. There is an absurd nature in that scene because you say, 'Hey, you are Princess Diana. Just enter a fish shop. It is clear that you know that people will have exactly this reaction. "
"Spencer" is based on real events, including the weekend when Lady Diana decided it was time to end her marriage to Prince Charles.
Kristen's role has been highly praised and there are rumors that she could be a good contender for the Oscars.
