Stretch marks on the chest are extremely common and range from pink or red to white over time.
Home treatments and medical interventions can help treat stretch marks, but they are all more effective when the signs are new.
Keep in mind that stretch marks are normal and not harmful. If you do not want to remove them, you do not have to remove them.
There are a number of different treatments you can use to relieve stretch marks on the chest and reduce their visibility.
Home treatments
1. Massage the skin: Massage is thought to help increase blood circulation and collagen production, which can help fade stretch marks. Massage the chest for at least 30 seconds. You can use creams that treat stretch marks during massage for better results.
2. Exfoliation: Use a soft bristle brush and an exfoliating scrub to speed up the collagen production process and improve the appearance of the skin. Choose only one exfoliating product. If you use more than one, it can irritate the skin.
3. Cocoa butter or shea butter: They are nutritious and contain vitamin E, which is good for skin health.
4. Stretch mark creams: These creams are sold without a prescription and contain a mixture of ingredients that theoretically help to fade scars and improve skin elasticity.
