They posted photos on social media from the romantic marriage proposal, where they are seen surrounded by rose petals and candles. The "Twilight" star sits on his knees and holds the box with the ring in his hand.

I look forward to spending life forever with you Tay Dome. You love me unconditionally. You calm me down when I'm anxious. You make me laugh a lot. You make every day I spend with you very special. And most importantly, it made me a better person. I can not thank you enough for what you have brought into my life. I love you forever."

Tay, a nurse, wrote: “My best friend. I can't wait to spend my life with you. " They went public as a couple in 2018, when the actor posted a photo on Instagram.
