Brass Against rocker Sophia Urista apologized for going "too far" by urinating on a fan in the face and insisted she "is not a friend artist".
During a concert, in the viral footage , Urista tells the crowd that she needs to go to the bathroom, but finds it impossible. She calls on stage a man who has a can attached to his forehead.
"Get the man ready with cans on his head, because we will bring him on stage and pour [urine] into his mouth," Urista allegedly said before the disturbing action (via Independent).
In footage circulated online, she urinates in the face of fans. "I apologize to them and I want them to know that I did not intend to hurt them," she wrote.
"I'm not a friend's artist," Urista insists, without giving details of what prompted her to urinate on a fan who was the one who brought her on stage. (Shock art is contemporary art that incorporates disturbing images, sounds, or scents to create a shocking experience.)
"I always want to put music first. I am grateful for all your constant love and support, "Urista writes.
The disturbing move may have been a marketing strategy because after the headlines in the media, they have gained more fans. "I came for the urine, I am staying for the music," some write.
