The latest writings of Swedish DJ Avicii will be published in a book which will give details about the artist's mental health and alcohol and substance abuse.
Entitled "Tim - The Official Biography of Avicii", the book was written by journalist Mans Mosesson, who spoke with parents, family, friends and colleagues about Avicii's life and career. .
The book will contain excerpts from the artist's diary while he was in rehab for drugs and alcohol. On one page of the diary, Avicii wrote:
"I had a hard time accepting to never drink again, even though all the doctors told me to wait at least a year before drinking a beer. Of course, I did not listen to most of the doctors, I heard a couple who told me that there is no problem if I was careful. I was ignorant and naive and did a world tour, a never-ending tour - because once you do it, you know what? You will do it again. ”
He adds: "Those hospital days were the most anxious and stress-free days I could remember in the last six years. "It was my real vacation, no matter how depressing it may seem."

The "Wake Me Up" musician meditated for hours at a time, despite the recommended time being only 20 minutes a day. "I feel like I am in a new indefinite phase of my being, which is new and a little scary." The day before his death, his friend contacted his father and expressed concern about Avicii's thoughts while meditating. He said the artist did not eat or speak.
Avicii passed away on April 20, 2018. At first no cause of death was reported, but later TMZ reported that he had committed suicide through a piece of glass by cutting himself.
"The emptying of the soul is the last bond, before it starts again," were his last words.
