When the Minnie mouse decides to add a costume to her wardrobe with iconic dresses, make sure at least the outfit is designed by Stella McCartney.

The recently unveiled dress is associated with two important dates: March 8, International Women's Day as well as the 30th anniversary of Disneyland Paris.

"Minnie has always had a special place in my heart," McCartney said in a press release. "We have the same values ??and what I like about Minnie is that she symbolizes happiness, self-expression, authenticity ... plus she has such a great style."

The dark blue dotted suit is somewhat reminiscent of the outfits of women leaders, including important politicians such as former German Chancellor Angela Merkel, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton or US Vice President Kamala Harris.

The dress was well received, but there was also criticism. Candace Owens, a conservative American author, said they "made it more masculine."

On the occasion of International Women's Day, the collaboration with Stella McCartney will also include a collection of t-shirts - featuring Minnie with the phrase "Divine Feminine" - which will appear at the Stella McCartney Winter 2022 fashion show on March 7.
