"Servant of the People", the satirical series that started the political career of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, is again available to watch on Netflix.
The series stayed on the platform from 2007 until 2021, but Netflix announced that they have re-released it.
The Ukrainian president first rose to fame in "Servant of the People" where he played the role of an honest schoolteacher, who is elected president and surpasses other lawmakers.
The series did not make Zelensky just a movie star. It served as the springboard for the real-life presidential campaign. His party was also called the "Servant of the People." In April 2019, within a month of the show's finale, the comedian was elected president of Ukraine.
His figure already - a figure that for many people represents the ideal leader, fearless man and resistance - has aroused interest to watch the series.
