"Vedic astrology explains planetary movements and position in relation to time, space and their effect on humans and all other entities on planet Earth," says Trivedi.

The difference between Vedic and Western astrology

Both Vedic and Western astrology focus on time and space and display the same 12 signs of the zodiac. What they differ in is their meaning for the positions of the constellations. As a result, the dates of each zodiac sign also vary, almost by a complete sign.

The biggest difference between the two is that Western astrology focuses on the immediate solar system, while Vedic astrology also takes into account other aspects of the galaxy. According to Trivedi, both astrological systems have their merits and value and are just as powerful - one is no better or more accurate than the other. He adds that many people now refer to both to better understand their cosmic findings.
