Is our true personality the one we show when we are drunk?

Under different effects we all behave differently, but that does not mean that every time you get drunk and behave strangely you show 100% yourself. Alcohol makes us all more impulsive and not interested in what others think of us, but does it fully reveal our character?

To begin with, we need to understand how alcohol affects behavior

For the sake of truth, alcohol consumption, especially at social events often comes with benefits. Studies show that drinking significantly reduces the state of anxiety or negative reactions to various social situations and makes us more extroverted, social, generous and ... honest.

Of course, there is the other side of the coin that is related to alcohol, especially when its mass is exceeded. The drunken person may no longer have control over himself and start making different scenes, which in many cases annoy and irritate others around him.

But does alcohol reflect our true personality?

Alcohol can change the way we feel, think or behave. Often, it allows us to expand our limits, our sense of freedom, and free us from the defense mechanisms we use in the normal state. Not in vain, in those moments we are euphoric, happy and enthusiastic. It is true that alcohol brings to the surface that part of you that you keep secret in your daily life, which is why famous writers and philosophers often say that the personality you have when you are drunk is the real one.

Something like this has not yet been scientifically confirmed, but it is a fact that once they are clarified, there will be nothing left of the behaviors of the situation of the night before, which they displayed so boldly.
