On Saturday, May 29, David Banda, Madonna's 16-year-old son, wore a dress from the upcoming Adidas x Gucci collection to the UBA World Lightweight Championships in New York City. For Madonna fans, the dress is by no means unknown.
"David Banda's dress is a moment where the past meets the present," Gucci wrote on Instagram.
His mother, Madonna, was photographed in an almost identical dress, in 1993.
Dressing, in addition to recreating Madonna's look, is another bold step men take to have the freedom to wear whatever they want.
The gang is one of Madonna's six children. Madonna and director Guy Ritchie adopted Banda in 2006, when he was just 13 months old, according to People.
Fashion enthusiasts are now waiting for the recreation queue, worn by the 16-year-old.
