After every nice dinner / lunch with friends or family, comes the most difficult moment. Should we order or not that dessert that is making us eye-catching just from the description on the menu? As we see the gym and the greenery of every day, everything is forgotten when we are overwhelmed by the thought: "What does it mean to have dinner without dessert ?!"
Ok, now that the cake is over and you have some occasional guilt, ask yourself if there is a proper time to consume the sweets. Whatever your answer, experts say YES!
According to them, if you consume them early in the day it may be better for digestion as if you eat them after dinner, you may have problems with acid reflux, stomach or just not sleeping comfortably.
Cake is part of the holiday, fun and enjoyment so even if you consume it in the late hours, you can do it, but it would be best to avoid it whenever you can. However, there is no fixed hour to consume sweet things. Nutritionists suggest listening to your body more. If you are hungry for something sweet, eat it right away as the next day things may get out of hand and you overdo it.
Remember something! Before moving on to the second piece of dessert, wait at least 20 minutes, as it takes so long for the brain to feel full. Eat slowly and try to enjoy it 100% focused on your plate.
