Dakota Johnson has revealed some behind-the-scenes "commotion" from "Fifty Shades of Grey" - and no, we're not talking about Jamie Dornan (Christian Grey).

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Johnson described the filming process for the film as "chaos," in part due to the creative control held by the book's author, EL James, whom Johnson refers to as Erika.

"I agreed to make a very different film than what we ended up making," Johnson said.

Specifically, she revealed that James wanted to keep protagonist Anastasia Steele's "incredibly weird" inner monologues in the film, even though they "wouldn't work to be said out loud".

"It was always a challenge," said the actress. "Always. There were a lot of different disagreements," Johnson said. "I've never been able to really talk about it because we wanted to promote the movie the right way, and I'm proud of what we did in the end. Everything turned out as it was intended, but it has all been very complicated.”

However, it seems that while there have been artistic disagreements, there are no disagreements on a personal level.

However, rumors that Johnson and Dornan don't get along have been greatly exaggerated, at least according to Johnson.

"He is like a brother to me. I love him so much," she said.

Overall, Johnson sees the experience, which catapulted him to international fame, as a positive one.

"We have to admit that it was wonderful for our career. It's been amazing and I'm lucky. I don't think about anything!"
