"Strawberry" skin is the combination of oil, bacteria and dead skin cells, creating that unpleasant look on your legs or wherever you've waxed. We know you want to get rid of them, especially during the summer, so it's time to learn some secrets.
1. Moisturize the skin constantly
By using moisturizing cream every day you soften the skin and improve its texture by preventing the black spots that appear mainly after waxing.
2. Wax in the direction of your hair
By waxing in the direction of their growth you will avoid irritation and above all you will not have to wax as often with a razor. By waxing in the opposite direction to the hair, you will prevent and treat ingrown hairs faster.
3. Use ice
This method is quite familiar to you, since you have most likely used ice after an injury. After you have finished waxing, it is good to apply cold water or ice compresses to the area for a few minutes. It will calm the skin and also reduce its redness after waxing.
4. Mix with baking soda
Baking soda has many benefits, from cooking to exfoliating the skin. Anti-bacterial ingredients help remove dead cells and clean pores.
Just mix half a cup of oatmeal, 3 tablespoons of baking soda, 2 tablespoons of honey. Then, apply it to your feet and leave it on for about 15 minutes. Rinse with fresh water and voila!
5. It is better to use wax!
Strawberry skin is not that familiar with wax, so if you want to get rid of it for good, change the method. You wax less often and above all there are no more hairs under the skin!
