In 2009, the film "Orphan" was released, which told the story of a couple who adopt a nine-year-old girl who was not the "child" they claimed to be. 

The film has received mixed reviews from critics and is currently admired as a unique psychological horror film. 

Isabelle Fuhrman plays Esther and her performance is a strong point of the film.

This year, the "orphan" returns again with "Orphan: First Kill," a second film that will explore Esther's origins. The lead role will be played by the same actress and the film will use creative techniques to make the now 25-year-old actress look like a child again.
